Why Houhou Nails?
We started Houhou Nails in 2023 after years of doing nails out of a home studio. The idea was simple: build a real salon in West Lafayette where people can get their nails done without worrying about quality or getting rushed out the door. We picked our spot on Bowfield Way because it is close to campus and easy to get to from anywhere in town. Most of our clients are Purdue students and faculty, young professionals, and local regulars who just want a consistent, well-done manicure. Our team trains together every month to stay up on new techniques — whether that is the latest chrome finish, hand-painted designs, or lash application methods. We invest in quality products because they last longer and look better. Your nails should still look fresh two to three weeks out, and they will. We keep our space clean, our music good, and our prices honest. No hidden fees, no upselling. Just good nails.
